Our story
The story of Syndei Embassy did not begin with a name. It began with a fast.
5 January 2015
With his birthday approaching the following day, Prophet AK Lawrence entered three days of fasting and prayer. He was an undergraduate student of Business Administration at the time, and he was seeking God for direction on what came next.
Out of that season came Christ Impacting Believers Network, CIBN, a ministry with one clear assignment: to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ, beginning with the underreached communities of northern Ghana.
2015 onwards
CIBN’s earliest years were shaped by grassroots evangelism. The ministry entered communities where organised Gospel outreach had been limited, sharing the message of Jesus Christ and building relationships through both proclamation and practical service.
Those early outreaches established something that has remained central ever since: the Gospel must not only be preached, its love must also be demonstrated.
2016
The ministry’s outreach expanded through a partnership with The Bridge Church. Together they carried out a social evangelism campaign across three communities in the Builsa North District of Ghana’s Upper East Region.
The outreach combined practical social impact with the proclamation of the Gospel, reaching communities that had seen limited organised ministry.
Campus ministry
The work also reached university campuses. CIBN partnered with the International Central Gospel Church UPSA Campus Ministry, PENSA and GHAMSU to organise Holy Ghost Conferences, bringing students from different Christian traditions together in pursuit of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
These gatherings were more than events. They were an early picture of what the ministry would one day be called.
Different churches. Different communities. One Christ. One Gospel. One purpose.
Sent north
The call north continued. In Damongo, Prophet AK Lawrence organised a Gospel crusade and preached in unfamiliar territory, among Muslim dominated communities in the northern region, in dependence on the Holy Spirit.
Within three months a congregation had been gathered and a church planted. What began as evangelism was producing communities of believers.
Years of service
He also served as Youth Pastor, Chaplain and rotational Pastor across three branches of the International Central Gospel Church, including its headquarters.
Those years, together with the evangelistic and campus work, shaped the pastoral foundation, teaching emphasis and Christ-centred vision that would find expression in Syndei Embassy.
14 August 2026
After more than a decade of evangelism, ministry partnerships, campus outreach and pastoral service, a new chapter began. On 14 August 2026, Syndei Embassy was formally registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee in the Republic of Ghana.
The name was new. The calling was not.
For years the ministry had been bringing people, churches and communities together around the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Its name simply gave language to what its history had already been demonstrating.
What “Syndei” means
συνδει̂
Syndei comes from the Greek verb syndeo, which joins sún (“together, with”) to déo (“to bind, tie”). It means “binds together”, “joins”, and “unites”. The word threads through some of the richest “one Body” language in the New Testament.
Hebrews 13:3
Believers are called to remember those in chains “as bound with them”, a picture of shared solidarity in Christ.
Ephesians 4:3
Believers are urged to keep “the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace”.
Colossians 2:19
The whole Body of Christ is “held together by joints and ligaments”, growing as it is knit to Christ, the Head.
Colossians 3:14
Love itself is called “the bond of perfection”, the tie that holds every other virtue together.
Syndei Embassy is a name and a calling: Christ binds together what sin separated. This ministry exists to be that bond in action.

To reveal Jesus Christ as the sole and sufficient bridge between God and humanity, proclaiming His finished work on the cross, cultivating intimate union with Him through faith and the Holy Spirit, and mobilising believers into lives of sacrificial love, sound doctrine, and Kingdom service, as we watch and prepare for His soon return.

Statement of purpose
Syndei Embassy exists to reveal Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and to reconnect humanity to God, to their true identity in Christ, and to one another, through the preaching of the Gospel, the teaching of sound biblical doctrine, discipleship, prayer, worship, and works of charity and compassion, until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prophet AK Lawrence is a man whose life bears one unmistakable centre: Jesus Christ. He carries the Gospel into every sphere he occupies, whether the boardroom, the counselling room, or the pulpit, convinced that Christ is not one part of a well-rounded life, but the foundation beneath all of it.
Every assignment he carries flows from a single, settled relationship: personal communion with Jesus Christ, cultivated in private long before it was ever displayed in public. He does not merely teach about Christ; he ministers from a place of having first sat with Him.
His path to ministry began the way his path to education did, through hardship transformed by faith. From the age of eleven he paid his own school fees through mason’s labour, gardening, and house help, a discipline he carried through Junior and Senior High School and into a three-year teaching career (2011 to 2013) taken on specifically to fund university.
The reality of God has never been theoretical for Prophet AK Lawrence. It has been experienced. He testifies to encounters with the supernatural from childhood, to the protecting hand described in Psalm 91:11, and to a later experience in which he was shown both heaven and hell, echoing the Apostle Paul’s own testimony of being caught up to the third heaven.
While teaching at Flodan International School he heard the Holy Spirit instruct him to undertake a twenty-one-day fast. On the eighteenth day, by his testimony, he was taken up and seated at a long table before the throne, where the Holy Spirit taught him to understand the Scriptures. Since that encounter he reads the Word not merely with comprehension but with accompanying revelation, a fulfilment of the promise that the Spirit “will guide you into all truth”.

He read for a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, from 2013 to 2017; a Graduate Diploma in Oil and Gas HSE from the Global Organization of Oil and Gas Professionals, Canada; and a Graduate Diploma in Pastoral Ministry from the Daniel Institute, Ghana. He is further certified in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics by Google.
His route into banking began with Barclays Bank Ghana’s Business Junior Achievers programme in 2011. He went on to complete the bank’s competitive graduate training between April and June 2013, and joined Barclays (now Absa) in June 2014 while studying for his degree, serving as Personal Banker and later Tema Branch Service Executive, where he was recognised as Best Service Executive, Best Performing Staff, and Best Digital Innovator of the Year. He went on to serve as Supply Chain & Delivery Unit Manager at Fairway Company Limited, leading a team of 23 while cutting excess stock by 35% and improving on-time delivery by 55%. Across every role the same pattern holds: rigorous, data-driven stewardship of what he has been given.
He leads Syndei Embassy, teaching daily across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and hosting The Spirit Word, a teaching platform devoted to opening the Scriptures with theological depth and pastoral clarity. One consistent message goes into every room he enters: Christ revealed, and hope restored.
